Photo Editing

Hello! This is Kelsey from The Flip-Flop Farmgirl, and I'm going to show you how to make your photos pop in black and white. It's really easy and the results are fantastic! I normally use photoshop elements 7.
1. Go into the full editor and open your photo.
2. Create a duplicate background layer, Layer>Duplicate Layer.
3. Now you will need to convert the photo to black and white using the Gradient Map. First press D which will set your foreground and background colors to default, then with the top layer selected choose Filter>Adjustments>Gradient Map, then click ok.
4. Repeat this about two or three more times to fit what you like.
5. If there is too much white or black in the photo, fix it by choosing Enhance>Adjust Lighting>Levels, adjust it to your liking.

And that's all there is to it! Your black and white photos will stand out beautifully!
